New here, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 18 months ago, wanting to know how I can get transfered from the hospital I'm being treated at now to LGI . Already asked my GP no help so that's not a option. Any advice or place to point me to would be appreciated..

I don’t have Myeloma but I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare, incurable type of NHL Stage 4a so although my Blood Cancer ‘type’ is different I understand the challenges of the journey well.
As for your question about getting transferred you may want to call the Macmillan Support Line is open 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00 or via Webchat and Email too. This service provides cancer information, practical information or just a listening ear.
You may also find out Ask an Expert section helpful but do allow a few working days for a reply.
