My dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a year ago after being rushed into hospital with pneumonia.He was admitted to hospital a month ago an sent home after a week we only found out he had sepsis on reading his discharge notes
He has been in a lot of pain and very tired since coming home but we assumed it was just from being so unwell He had an Mri scan a week ago which caused pain he was meant to see his consultant 4 days ago but was too tired so they rang us instead
we had such a shock to be told it has spread to his spine kidneys and brain he has been given days to weeks ! We are devastated telling him was hard although mum told him a month or so he cried an said but i feel fine ( he doesn't like to worry us!) since thursday he is dozing a lot he is eating but just bits how will we know im so scared we are all goin to visit today me ( only daughter) my 4 adult children and their kids which he is looking forward too
i need help as me & mum will care for him is any of this a sign hes dying in few days please help thank you for reading sorry to drone on

I don't have Myeloma but just wanted to drop in past and direct you to other groups where you can talking with others who are walking the exact same type of cancer support path as this will help you navigate this.
I recommend that you join our supportive Carers only and Supporting someone with incurable cancer groups where you will connect with others supporting family and friends through a time like this.
