Hi all,
I have always thought of myself as a good eater with good mixtures of foods, good and yes bad.
Wondering if anyone would have any advise on foods for this horrid disease?
Thank you.
Diet for most blood cancers is all about a good healthy balanced diet, lots of fruit and vegetables. Cut down or cut out junk food, reduce alcohol intake, if you smoke consider stopping and get into the routine of trying to keep hydrated so a good aim is 2 litres of water a day….. but you are allowed some treats. Some treatments can reduce your appetite so at times it’s all about getting fuel into your body so at times you just eat what you fancy.
Great thanks Highlander. Don't smoke or take much booze either but do love my treats.
Since all this happened regret binging on rubbish and weight is piling up.
But I know I need to get on top of it.
