  • Hi Kerry,

Best of luck with the treatment tomorrow, I am sure it will be an emotional day. I looked on it as the first step in getting me to where I want to be - a positive step in putting the disease back in its box.

Please let us know how it goes. I hope you get some lovely nurses to administer the treatment - in my experience, they are busy for sure, but absolutely fantastic at what they do.

    All the very best

Dear, good luck with everything today, you’ll soon get into the swing of things, make good friends with the nurses as they will be a great asset to you throughout induction treatment and beyond. It takes a while to adjust physically, I suggest keeping a diary so if the the pesky dexamethasone becomes an issue you can work out what are the days you might be a bit grouchy or emotional. Try not to worry too much, your in safe hands now and will be getting the very best treatment you could get anywhere. On clinic days try to have a treat lined up as a reward so the day isn’t just a hospital appointment.
