due to start chemo next week but he can't decide if he should have it. he started been ill in July this year and had 2 x stays in hospital, lung lining drained 4 times now. couldn't have talc procedure due to tethering's in lining. up to that point all we knew was fluid was clear for asbestosis and it was probably an infection. fast forward to biopsy and meso confirmed. so we've had 3 months with no clue and now everything is fast moving. had first oncology appointment last week and they looking to start chemo next week. he can't decide. he lives alone now and we are doing all we can. i go to every appointment as luckily my work has a flexible carers leave. so this if for those who's parents/partners did or didn't have chemo and whether they would have changed their original choice.
