Hello all, I was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma last October. Since then I have had three sessions of immunotherapy but this has been stopped because of side effects. Oncologist has now recommended I shift to chemo and, after much thought, I have agreed. First treatment is in three weeks time - I am to be given carboplatin and pemetrexed. I realise side effects vary from person to person and I am not anticipating a pleasant experience but does anyone have any specific experiences/suggestions they would like to to share? Thanks
