My Dad was diagnosed last October. He had a pleural decortication in February and finished chemo in August. A scan was performed in September and the consultant told us that my Dad had the best results from surgery and chemo that he had ever seen. The cancer is now very small, but obviously still there. The Dr has said that he doesn't want to see my Dad until maybe next February. At the time we was so happy with the outcome of the scan, that we didn't really think about asking what happens now? Is it right that we just wait to see what happens? is this normal? or should my Dad be having some other type of treatment?
Good Luck I took the chance and it paid off even if it comes back Im living a near normal life. now others are following me in the US they have got to find answers soon to all this asbastos Chaos xxx

Hello Michael
You're story is an inspiration, i just wondered how you are getting on with your healthy eating and juicing.
I truly believe this works and i am trying to get my dad to try it but he has gone off the taste of fruit and veg and i'm sure he thinks i've gone mad, says i'm a tree hugger.
He only does what the doctor tells him and he is too weak for chemo so this was my last resort.
Just thought a positive story like yours might give him the push he needs.
Sending hugs to you and your familyÂ

What a lovely positive thread for a change.
I just thought I’d mention that using your favourite search engine to look up locovan’s real name (Mavis Nye) which she gave above, will bring you some very useful results. We are not allowed to mention other charities etc on here (bit odd if you ask me) but there are other sites offering support just like this one.
Good luck everyone.
Hi Gerry.Â
Thank you for sharing your tips. I've read a lot about the anti-cancer effects of Curcumin. What dosage would you recommend and for how long?Â
Hi may I ask if in your husbands case he had surgery or inoperable? My father has been diagnosed. NHS tock too long and chemo nat 6 months only just started! surgery was attempted then they found notmonly the large tumour but also n7 tiny ones the scan didn't pick up. So they took a biopsy. More weeks waiting the ct now says bigger and surgery not recommended. I am fuming.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
