hi my name is stuart i was told i had lentigo maligna melanoma i had to have a biopsy on my left cheek on my face it turned out it was cancer and they needed to operate on it ,so i went to see plastic surgeon and he said its quite big so will have to do a skin graft ,so last wednesday i went in and had the surgery done i now have stiches in my arm from the graft and my left cheek on my face is now got a big new piece of skin on it with stitches all around it ,have to go back this thursdasy for a check up to see how its taken . must admit struggling to look in the mirror at the moment because of how it looks , but i guess thats normal.after an op like this . if anyone else has gone threw this would be good to hear how you got on ,well thanks for reading this and hope you are all on the mend now and if anyone is struggling i would be happy to listen .. cheers stuart
