Hi there, had anybody been told what the % or chances are that melanoma stage 2 can spread to sentinel lymph node, I’m finding it a grey area, my dermatologist told me this week (only diagnosed Monday) that “most” people that have what you had removed will have wide local excision and that is all they ever need? I’m having the optional SLNB also but that’s making me extremely anxious and worried. What if it is there too! Even though the margins were clear from my initial excision.
any advise / reassurance is more then appreciated xx
I’m sure they said mine was 3.5mm I feel that is big
