Hi everyone.
Diagnosed with earliest stage melanoma. On my face I have had one biopsy and 2 lots of surgery. They gained a clear margin. Surgery Dec 2021. Now I need to have a further punch biopsy due to a small lump on my face.
Hi Marigold and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that after having surgery to remove a lentigo maligna from your face you now need to have a further biopsy. Over the 5 years since I was first diagnosed with malignant melanoma I have had several lesions removed from my body and, touch wood, they have all been benign. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that yours is too.
When you have a minute it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
