Hi all. I've bought a UPF 50+ beach tent because I live on the seafront and want to be able to still sit on the beach when UV is not too high, and there is no natural shade here! This might be a silly question, but do I need to still cover up if sat inside the tent? Or can I wear shorts if shaded and the tent is UPF? Thanks. I must say, I'm struggling with sitting indoors in this weather and always being in long trousers and long sleeves when outside, hope everyone else is coping ok.
Hi Karabee
I don't have a UPF50+ beach tent but I do have a UPH50+ sun umbrella which I clip onto any chair I'm sitting on. However, I do still cover up. As for struggling in long trousers and long sleeves when outside, the only thing I can say is that I did get used to it eventually.

I bought it at a local garden centre. It has an attachment to clip it on to a deckchair
