Hello,
I was with a dental practice but due to cancer and the pandemic hadn't been in a couple of years and now they have taken me off their lists.
How do you get a dentist?
John
Hi Jjohnboy2000
Firstly I'd suggest that if you liked the dentist you were with then you could ask them if you could become their patient again.
If they won't accept you and you want to have an NHS dentist then clicking on this link takes you to the NHS website where you can put in your postcode to find the ones nearest to you.
If you want a private dentist then you could ask your friends and neighbours who they would recommend or google something like 'dentists in (town you live in)' and you should find suggestions.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for the reply. I have tried the options mentioned without luck. Didn't know if there were any options for cancer patients.
I'm not aware of any dentists specifically for cancer patients Jjohnboy2000 but you could try posting your question in the ask an information and support adviser section of the online community.

Hey John! I'm really sorry to hear about your tough time with cancer and the pandemic. Finding a new dentist can be overwhelming, but don't worry; I've been through something similar.
When I needed a new dentist, I asked friends and family for recommendations. Personal referrals can be gold! Talking about my suggestions, I find Invisalign near me to treat my teeth. I hope that helps!
