Before my lymph node dissection 2weeks ago I had a ct scan , it was clear except for a nodgel on my thyroid! I’m having a ultrasound on it , is this a place melanoma would spread to?

I think the simple answer is that melanoma can spread almost anywhere as you'll see from this article by Cancer Research UK although it doesn't specifically mention the thyroid gland.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your nodule is completely benign.
