Evening all, just a quick query. Has anyone had/know of anyone who has had immunotherapy for stage 3 melanoma when they have multiple sclerosis ? Wondering if side effects of immunotherapy are exacerbated by multiple sclerosis .
Thanks for any input x
Hi , I noticed you haven’t had a reply with the experience that your after so wondered if It worth putting a question in the ask a nurse section.

Hi KTatHome,
Thank you for your reply. I think it’s a very specific query and not something many have come across. The SCSN we saw last week was lovely but obviously (as her speciality is Skin not MS) didn’t really have much of an idea of if or how immunotherapy May/May not affect him. I have write to hubby’s MS specialist nurses to try to see if they have any information. We would like to go to the oncologist with as much information as we can so if she does feel he is suitable for adjuvant/immunotherapy we can weigh up the options.
I think we really need some personal experience (if there are any) to help us with the decisions we may face but I will add the question to the ask a nurse discussion board and see if anyone can help.
Thank you again for your response and support xx
I have had MS For over 20 years I had immunotherapy in 2020 when I was diagnosed with MM before my stem cell transplant it had no notable difference to my MS
