Hi,
does anyone have any experience of immunotherapy affecting kidneys? My husband has stage 4 melanoma of the lungs and has had 5 immunotherapy treatments now.
The last 3 months he has had swollen feet and this month it's got worse with hands also swelling and a puffy face. Blood results showed very high creatinine levels and slightly raised urea. And yes he drinks loads of water.
I am wondering, if there is kidney damage, will it recover? Does treatment tend to get paused or stopped?
We have an appointment with the oncology doctor next week and just thinking about questions we need to prepare.

I don't have the experience you're looking for but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
I've done a search in the group and found these posts which mention the kidneys. While you're waiting for replies, you could have a look through them to see if any relate to what your husband is experiencing.
Let us know how you get on with the oncologist next week.
