Hi there everyone.

I am absolutely passed myself with worry, making myself ill , I know that.

I had a mole on my right arm just above my wrist, got it removed two weeks ago, got the results yesterday , Melanoma. Awaiting final pathology as they need to confirm a satellite Metastatic , so he gave me the grade of three but said could be 2b if the cell is fluid filled , but whatever the outcome will require WLE and a CT Scan as normal practice.

He felt all my lymph nodes , under arm, neck and groin and his words "great that's odd, no lumps or bumps and no swelling", I said thank god that has made me feel so much better he response good !!!

He assures me that went he did the removal of the said mole he went down 9mm , hence was so sore and that its all gone, he reiterated the good thing is its out.

However my head is making me have widespread pain , I also suffer from fibromyalgia , my ribs are sore , my chest , my arm is still sore from the original removal. I feel sick to death with worry.

  • Your story is copy og mine but left arm. I have now had a clear PET and waiting for WLE SNLB. Mine was 6.2mm. I'm worried sick and at times feel hopeless but I'm trying to be strong. I start immunotherapy in January. Best wishes to you x

  • HI there

I am having CT Next week, and appointment with Plastics Wednesday to discuss the WLE , my dermo said he will decide if I need the SNLB, as all my lymph nodes are normal and not swollen on exam. They have advised me that will have the WLE and then will have regular yearly check ups.
