Had my WLE today

Hi all. Just thought I’d let you know I had my WLE this morning. Thankfully all went well (I think) even though the local anaesthetic injections hurt ouch!! After that I didn’t really feel a thing The surgeon and nurses were so kind and kept me chatting the whole way through the operation. Just got to wait for the results now which will be 4-6 weeks. Hope everyone is keeping well xx

Glad to hear everything went well You're right about the anaesthetic injections being a touch painful!

Thank you Latchbrook. They’re confident the results will come back clear but you never quite know with melanoma. xx

Hi Kaussie, just wanted to say well done on getting through this hurdle. My WLEwas under a general anaesthetic as I was having a SLNB too (for stage 3c). Each of these steps is important along the way. Fingers crossed for for good results x
