Hello
Just looking for advice as I have secondary lung cancer, primary cancer melanoma.
I suddenly have pain from my groin area down my inner thigh. This
Has been ongoing for a few days now and rendered me immobile with
The pain. Is it possible the cancer has spread here? It has metastasised to
Lymph nodes under my arm. I'm currently still waiting for a call back
From my gp.
Thank you
Karen
Hi Karen
I don't know the answer to your question but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.
As your primary cancer was melanoma I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you post your question in the melanoma forum, which I can see you've joined, as I'm sure there will be people there who have had a spread to their lung.
You might also like to join the secondary lung cancer forum and, if you'd like to do that, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
How did you get on when you spoke to your GP?
Thank you for your reply. My GP sent me to A & E where after waiting 9 hours they did an xray ans suggested it could be sciatica.
My symptoms don't match sciatica and my gp agrees. I have an appointment with my oncologist next week where I think they will arrange another ct scan.
Hopefully I'll get to the bottom of it eventually.
Thanks
Karen
