Hi
My hubby has prostate cancer which he has had 6 rounds of chemo for. Cancer had gone into left lymoh node. The chemo has shrunken this down. He also has to have Zoladex hormone injections every 3 months. He has to also have regular PSA blood tests. After his chemo finished in Feb he had a CT scan which showed few problems so he had a PET scan which showed up 2 nodules in his left lung. They are in such an awkward place they cant be biopsed and so he is having a Lobectomy on Wednesday July 1st. Dr thinks nodules are from prostate cancer but did say without treatment he wouldnt be here next year. We were both shocked. Although last year when he was diagnosed we were told hos prostate cancer was aggresive with a Gleason score of 9. So worried for the operation and afterwards.
