Hi all - I have updated my bio so won’t bore with long intro but after successfully lasting 4 years after Womb cancer am now here with a diagnosis of T4 N3 M 1c Lung Adenocarcinoma ( brain ).I wasn’t aware of the brain bit util I read the clinical letter from oncologist on my NHS app but hey I’ll deal with that. I’m starting chemo immunotherapy of carbaplatin pemetrexed and pembroluzimabon on Monday and not particularly worried about it - I had chemoradiation last time and sailed through it and as a very pragmatic person I don’t worry about what might be but just deal with what is happening now - every day as it comes. I know any treatment is only palliative but I also know it can keep the cancer at bay so I’m aiming for as long as I can. I have an amazing husband that I have been married to for 52 years and fantastic family -I have a Grandaughter getting married in October 2027 so I need to be still well enough for that and I have an incredible 4 yr old grandson that I would really like to see grow a bit more.
