I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2011 and xmas eve 2024 I was told I had secondary lung cancer in both lungs , I have since had a lobectomy in right lung but still got a small nodule in left lung thats to be kept eye on by having ct scans every 6 months, I have had 3 so far 1&3 showed no growth but the 2nd showed marginally small change , I had number 3 in August and oncologist told me she will see me again in February, but last week I got a letter saying ive to go for a CT scan in November (3 months after last one), thinking this was a mistake I phoned the hospital , after checking i was told my oncologist requested a 3 month check after our last meeting .......I am now worrying why would she want this after telling me no growth in August?? Anyone else had similar??
