Evening. My husband was diagnosed two weeks ago and has decided not to undergo any treatment.

  • Hi   welcome to the group but I am sorry to hear about your husband. How do you feel about his decision ?

  • Hi,

Im so sorry to read this. Hearing the diagnosis is a huge, life-changing moment. I think of it as LBC and Life before cancer and after diagnosis.

Is he in shock? I’m sure he will be. I don’t think I fully believed it was real/true until I had lung surgery. I’m now recovering ready to have one kidney removed as there’s a tumour on it too.

Is it because he doesn’t feel well enough for the treatment or surgery recommended?

It’s a hugely emotional time for you too. What would you like to happen? You need support to whatever course your husband chooses.

People on here are very supportive and I’ve found it easier to write my thoughts down on here to strangers than my loved ones.

    Take care x
