Hi all
ive been diagnosed since June 26 satage 4 lung cancer total shock therefore knocked side ways and more , i have a GEFR mutation but also the TP53 mutation ive started targeted therapy which is going well with very minimal side effects so feeling really grateful for that just the reality has well and truly kicked in now and feeling a little low and lonely as until now i was working full time a mother of two and i thought relatively fit , so trying to stay positive when everything has changed is do difficult but im sooo thankful to be here any one else have positive experience with targeted therapy ?
Hello Anid, a very warm welcome to the lung forum, although I'm very sorry you have the need to join.
I'm afraid I don't have experience of targeted therapy because my treatment involved surgery and chemotherapy. I am however pleased for you that treatment is going well with minimal side effects, although sorry that you're feeling low at the moment.
I'm sure someone who has experience of your treatment and is able to talk about it will be along shortly.
In the meantime welcome again.
