Hi,
I've got advanced stage 3 lung cancer and stage 1 lymphoma. Following 4 rounds of chemo ending in Feb 26 and 20 radiotherapy from March to April, in June I developed pneuminitis. I was in hospital for 9 days and sent home with portable oxygen machine for when I walk about (that is when my oxygen levels drop). The question is how long does it take to get off the oxygen? I am down to 15mg steroids, with 6 more weeks of reducing dose to go. I have missed out on immunotherapy as I was too weak after radiotherapy burnt my throat, the pneumonitis has delayed my scan by a month so no idea how much my 11cm tumour has shrunk, or what treatment is now possible. I have really had enough now
Hello Sam Ddd28ce,
I'm sorry to hear you are still having problems. You could use theMacmillan ask a nurse service, they are experienced in such areas and I'm sure they will be able to advise.
I've attached a link to their services and how to contact them below.
I do hope you can make some progress very soon.
Derek.
