Hello

I had originally posted on the secondary lung cancer forum tbh , they cannot say whether my husbands lung cancer is a primary or secondary . He had reoccurrence of lung cancer diagnosed last year . Originally had an ablation in Jan 25 . His has a complicated history with rheumatoid arthritis which has given him institutional lung disease . Treatment is not straight forward and he cannot have immunotherapy, surgery or radiation due to the fibrosis in his lung . Has anyone on here  ever had anything similiar ?
they are offering chemo hopefully at some stage but waiting for the optimum time .
it’s very hard as in a waiting game with no positive outcome .

  • Welcome to the lung cancer forum .

Your husband's condition looks quite complicated. I don't have direct experience of this, although it looks odd that his medical team cannot identify whether the cancer is a primary or secondary.

I'm hoping that someone in our group can at least shed some light on this based on their own experiences.

    Derek.
