i've been diagnosed with lung Cancer and i'm now waiting for the results of my Lung Biopsy i had on Monda. So I thought i would join this group and say Hi.
OK, I understand the whirlwind of events, just remember to keep your mind occupied, know you are not alone, and most of all you are in control of what happens in your life.
Keep talking, and practice good breathing technique, it helps maintain a sense of calm.
Thinking of you. And sending positive vibes
Hello David973,
A very warm welcome to the lung cancer forum although I'm very sorry you have the need to join. I'm Derek, one of the community champions on here and my Lung cancer experience started in 2014 when I had surgery and chemotherapy.
You don't need me to tell you that you're at one of the worst points right now when everything is uncertain, but once you have a diagnosis and treatment plant you'll be able to devote your attentions to dealing with it.
Let us know when results are in and ask aany questions you want, there'll be someone here who can answer form their own experiences.
All the best fior now, Derek.

I know how you feel David, it was all very unreal to me too, I still remember it vividly even though it's nearly 12 years ago now.
Hang on in there, all will become clear soon.
Derek.
