Hi, im new here. I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I think i am still in denial about this. Just over a week until my oncology appointment where i get the results of bronchoscopy and bloods looking for genetic mutations and hopefully treatment to help the symptoms and stop the spread.
Im trying so hard to be strong for everyone.
Hello Kiki77,
A very warm welcome to the lung cancer forum, although I'm very sorry you have had the need to join us. Just ask anything you would like to know about and there's sure to be someone here able to give you answers based on their own experiences.
You are arguably at one of the most difficult and worrying stages of your journey right now with doubts and worries swirling through your head but things will most definitely improve once you have a full diagnosis and treatment plan to get on the way to kicking the cancer into the long grass.
I wish you all the best for now, and do ask anything you would like.
Derek.
