Diagnosed with lung cancer last year, finished chemo seeing consultant on Monday to discuss if I am fit enough to have radiotherapy(as lost a lot of weight) then have CT scan. Keep crying every day and also tired. Fed up as with also having sciatica in left leg and needing right knee replacement (was going to have it last year but got cancer and would not have got through operation), so can't go walking like I used to, or go shopping, or do housework. Also now lost my hair.
Sorry for going on so much.
Hi' Crossword I'm guessing you enjoy doing them.
You're not having a good time of it are you. My wife has that sciatica so you have my sympathy. She also had surgery for ovarian "C" then Radio'. Then Chemo' for it in her kidneys but that was back in the 70's.She lost her hair so bought a couple of wigs that seamed to cheer her up a little. We are still together so all is not lost.
It's miserable I know having to put up with the procedures but we just have to. I had bowel "C" in 03 then lung "C" in 04 so I do know. But you now have an excuse to try a different wig each day if you want.
Stay strong and keep us up to speed
Thank you, will let you know how I go on, so sorry that you and your wife have been through so much. Will look into wigs, where did your wife get hers? Sorry again for going on how I did, but srill keep crying every day.
Thanks again
