Hi, I'm new here. I've been diagnosed with lung cancer and am currently going through immunotherapy with chemo being introduced. I'm really scared of what's happening but trying to stay positive as possible which really isn't easy. I'm lucky to have my family supporting me and have a really kind and helpful onco team. Hoping it will be helpful being here.

I don't really know what else to say, sorry.

  • Hi' Enchanted, welcome to the club none of us wanted to be members of, but here we are.

I had a lung one in 04 and had it removed in October of that year. It was following my bowel one in 03,   I didn't have any drugs just surgery for both.. I can honestly say I am feeling quite normal and go about my usual life. There's no reason why you shouldn't be the same. It's annoying and a bloody nuisance having to go through all the procedure but we have to do it.

Once you get over it and back to normal you'll wonder what your fuss was all about. Stay strong you'll get there

I didn't have Chemo' so can't advise on side effects. Others on here will help you out with that one

We try to support one another as best we can.

Your name reminds me of the song from the film South Pacific - Some Enchanted Evening - do you know it. If you don't go on You Tube and play it, Well it's something to do and take your mind away from your problem for a little while
