my husband has just been told he has 3-6 months
he was diagnosed with NSCL Stage111B Lung cancer in March, had chemo but was told yesterday that it is not working and tumour has grown, the breathlessness is a real problem for him but the worst is he can’t seem to eat and lives on vitamin drinks they provide, I’m not sure he will see 3 weeks and I
am trying not to let him see how worried I am for him

I’m so sorry to her about your husband’s diagnosis, it’s really hard to take.
we are waiting for the community McMillan nurse to contact us, hopefully will be next week, if not will contact the Oncologist as he has said he will organise all for us

Hi Scottiegirl101d5e7 welcome to the lung group but I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Have you contacted your husbands GP to make him aware of the situation. Sometimes it takes time for information to pass from one department to the other, and your GP may be the one who will arrange for the nurse to come.
I know how scary all of this is for you. The MacMillan support line is available 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm on 0808 808 00 00. You can call free to chat with someone about your worries or fears and to get advice.
You can also join the Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum where you can connect with other people who are in a similar situation to yourself.
