Hello all. I have Mucus Adenocarcinoma. The non smokers lung cancer. Been dealing with it since April. Like most, the waiting has been horrible. Finally on treatment, with surgery to fallow. The cancer is in one lung only, and they may remove the entire lung…. Wait and see,,, again
just saying Hi, anyone has comments or questions feel free.
Hi Anthony0622 welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. The biggest misconception about lung cancer is that it is a smokers disease, when in fact if you have lungs, you can get lung cancer !!
I always think that surgery is the best option, get rid of it completely. I know how scary this can be though. People do lead very good lives on one lung though. But I know what you mean about the waiting to see what surgery will take place. Just try and concentrate on the treatment for now, just one step at a time.
Thank you for your kind words Chellesimo. I believe joining this site will be beneficial to me, and I can help out others as well. Wishing you and your family clean heath and prosperity.
