Hi all,
Just joined and new to this forum.
After a few years of pleurisy and being scanned for 2 Ground glass opacities one larger on right lung, smaller on left. My recent pet scan in April revealed Right nodule lit up. Strange because as I was being scanned it was tingling!
Was given news on 2nd May that they think it's 60% early lung cancer.
I was due surgery today but cancelled as teenage son not well himself.
I gave good days and bad days to look at me in the morning I look fine but get very fatigued. I do have ME & chronic fatigue it may be that, plus going through very lengthy stressful divorce.
I have family who help when I go into hospital but no real friends who check in....
I feel very alone at times but least I have my Son, dog, cat and home.
Im hoping im the other 40% non cancer because ive never smoked, but that means nothing where lung cancer is concerned.
Thanks for reading, hoping to connect with others in similar medical situation xx
