I just want to say on Thursday last week my mum finished her 2 years chemo and immunotherapy treatment.
she was diganosed stage 4- her results are her cancer is stable - the cancer shrunk in her lung, and no spotting on her rib cage -
I have read so many new people being diagnosed , and I kno you are all so scared , but I hope this message gives you hope. It’s not been easy 2 years, but we have got there.
because my mum has responded so well. She has a meeting this Thursday to see if they can zap the stable cancer with radiotherapy, if she chooses to go down that route- if not then she will be scanned regularly every 12 weeks-
there are so many amazing treatment now with lung cancer- we have to juse hope thay more and more treatments and a cure will eventually be found for the future-
lots of love Nicole x

Hi train spotter
It's so good to hear, I am on the same path I have just completed 20 of my 35 cycles of immunotherapy, I did 4 cycles of chemotherapy and immunotherapy at the beginning and I've continued with the immunotherapy, I have a few more treat moment to complete and like you said it's had its ups and downs.
I was so pleased to read this post because I have been down a little bit lately and the treatment was beginning to get to me, so to read something as positive and honest as this has given me the pickup I needed, so thank you and I hope all continues well for you and your mum.
Have a lovely day
Donna
