Hi all, so my partners just two weeks after his lobectomy and recovering well
As his tumor was breaking into his ribs he had to get four ribs removed also, it was squamous carcinoma nsc. We have just got some biopsy results back which is clear on the lymph nodes and the tissue surrounding it which we’re delighted with! We are just waiting on the bone biopsy which we’ve been told could take up to two weeks again.. what I would like to know is, how would it spread to the bones.. if the tissue is clear and the nodes are clear it’s surely unlikely that it would have spread to the bones?
has anyone else any experience with this?
thanks
Hi Coolio it is so hard waiting for biopsy results. It seems to take so long! Sorry I don't know how the cancer could spread into bones, this may be something to ask the oncology team.
I hope the biopsy results are not too long, and hope you get some good news.
Thanks so much for your reply! It’s tough I suppose we’ve just got to get used to waiting!
