Good morning, My mother in law has come to live with us recently following breast lump removal surgery, which turned out to be secondary from lung cancer, we only got the full details last week and prognosis is a couple of months to a year depending on successful radiotherapy (in 6 weeks time subject to her condition at that point). She also has short term memory problems (Awaiting dementia diagnosis) which means if she has new symptoms she may forget to tell us about them, and i'm not sure she has grasped she has Stage 4 lung cancer. Other than a cough she doesn't appear to have any actual symptoms of the cancer that is causing any obvious issues at the moment.
Are there things i need to look out for and what has anyone else experienced in terms of symptoms that I should expect over the coming months?
thank you
Hi chiefsquirrel welcome to the group, but sorry to hear about your mother in law. It is really hard for any of us to say how things will be for your mother in law, as we can only share our own experiences, and no 2 peoples journey are the same.
