He has phone appointment on tuesday to talk nxt process , but is there anything in time being to help him eat without wanting to be sick .
Hi manny95 sorry to hear about your dad. I think you need to ask the doctor what your dad can do to stop him being sick. Is your dad able to keep any fluids down? I would at make sure he is drinking so he doesn't become dehydrated. Any concerns that he is becoming dehydrated please call 111 for medical advice.
evening , hes app tuesday said will ask then , hes drinking water and taking ice lollys , this has started since he had the fluid removed . 5 weeks ago our world was so happy now wer all putting brave faces on .
It is scary how quickly your world can change. When I was first diagnosed I felt terribly sick and couldn’t eat, but that was because I was so anxious. This may also be why your dad feels like this. Hopefully you get some better news on Tuesday xx

We are all either cancer patients, or caring for loved ones with cancer in this group. If you click on my profile picture you can go to my profile to read my journey so far.
I am sorry to hear that both your parents have had cancer in recent years. It is so scary when a loved one is told they have cancer. That’s why the online community is such a supportive place to come and talk to others who are in a similar situation. xx
Just read your bio you really are a warrior , im one of 5 kids , the middle im 50 soon but were a close family so its hard . If you mind can i tell my parents of your journey . Hopefully tomorrow we will know more .
can i ask is sugar bad for u with stage 4 , daddy has type 2 diebietic ( spelt wrong )
Please do share with your parents. There are many people in the group with similar stories too.
I guess your dad has to be careful with sugar if he is diabetic. A healthy diet is always encouraged for cancer patients, but to be honest I like my food so I eat what I want. I want to enjoy my time left. There are lots of things that have changed for me since my diagnoses, but food is one thing I am still able to enjoy. We have just started going back out into restaurants after shielding and social distancing for so long, and I am making up for lost time xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
