Hi,
I joined the endometrial cancer forum when I was diagnosed last year but this is the first time I've posted anything. Though I have been constantly reading the posts of people's journey fighting this disease.
I've just started on Provera. I haven't been able to find any forums of other people's experience or success of this treatment for secondary cancer.
If anyone has any first hand experience of this drug I'd be really interested in hearing about it.
Hi Matilda, welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. I am on a hormone treatment for my secondary lung cancer, but it a different one to you.
I have searched the site for provera, and there are a few posts around the site about it. If you go to the top of the page to the search bar, and pop in provera, and then anywhere, you should be able to see them. X
Thank you for the info.
I've just started on Provera but will post updates of my experience with the drug. I'm going to try to stick to a calorie controlled diet as I don't want to put on loads of weight!
Sending you my very best wishes. X
Hi Matilda I saw your information about yourself & your cancer sounds similar to mine I had endometrial cancer 6 years ago & had a hysterectomy, now I have a collapsed lung due to metastasis & many nodules in other lung. I have been put on Provera for 8 weeks now & hope it works . How are you now ? Hope you are doing well regards LIV
