Hi,
My mum has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer, I'm getting minimal information through a family member and I was just wondering if someone could answer a few questions I have please?
Thank you x
Hi Kerry11 if you want to talk one to one with somebody you can call the Macmillan support line. They are a free call number and are there 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm on 0808 808 00 00. They are a very friendly team, and everything is confidential.
Thank you :) I wasn't sure if helplines are just for the ones that have been diagnosed x
Thank you, is there a way to message privately or is it all on here? :) x
No not at all, they are there to support everyone who is effected by cancer. We could answer any questions you may have here, but we can only tell you about our own experiences, the support line will be able to answer your questions more thoroughly for you.
If you click on Ask an Expert a chat box should appear and you can talk to one of the experts there. X
You are more than welcome. I wish all the very best for your mum xx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
