Hello just joined. My mum has just found out she has lung cancer, she is 84 and is very frail. At the moment she has no symptoms which the doctors are saying is a good thing. It's is on her lymph nodes and because of her age they aren't keen in giving her chemo as it may make her more ill than the cancer. At her age and with no symptoms they are saying she may out live it, here's hoping.
Hi KazDee welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. I am glad to hear that she has no symptoms and is feeling relatively well.
It is very scary when a family member receives a cancer diagnoses, and the fear of what is ahead, but talking to others who are in a similar situation to yourself does help you through this difficult time. There are 3 different support forums on the community you can join.
