Hi, I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Had a pet scan which I’m pleased to say it has shown that it has not spread. Just waiting to see what treatment I will be having.
I am new to all this so I don’t know how the group works. So suppose its read and learn.
Hi Chadza and a very warm welcome to our little corner of the online community. Sorry you have found yourself here though. That is good news about the PET scan. All the waiting around for results is the worst bit. You feel like you are sat at home twiddling your thumbs, wondering what the doctors are doing and why it’s taking so long, and then it’s full speed ahead into treatment before you know it.
There are a few people in our group with SCLC, and lots of people on many types of treatment, so always someone around to answer any questions you might have.
Take care
