Hi all, called doctors due to what I thought was a flare up of my diticulitus, but after a course of antibiotics the pain was still there. Called me on Monday morning to check it out. X-ray in the afternoon, shadows on left lung.went for ct scan on Wednesday then lung biopsy. To be told I have a tumor upper left lung,plus fluid at bottom of left lung also cancer in the adrenal gland. Ended up in hospital that weekend with collapsed lung. Already had one course of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Did not like side effects at all. Second course this week .
Hi slippy. Welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. It’s such a shock when it happens so quickly like that. It’s good that the treatment has started. Good luck with the 2nd round this week. I hope the side effects ease for you.
