I am starting chemotherapy tomorrow after having top right lobectomy.
Someone said I should be careful in what toiletries I use I.e. shampoo / shower wash / moustriser that contain alcholol…I’ve been looking at ingredients on everything and it looks like it’s in everything…what do you all use
Hello Dawnofbeck,
For hair shampoo I was advised to use baby shampoo because the chemo will most likely affect your hair. As for shower wash, moisturiser etc. I'd suggest using simple products without alcohol, perfumes etc. as your skin etc. will most likely become be more sensitive.
I hope your treatment goes well and is a complete success.
Derek.
