Just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung primary. Metastatic spread to brain x 2, liver x3, bone x3 lymph and potentially adrenal glands. The only symptoms have and that I presented with are unsteadiness to one side and now tiredness. Obviously for all of us to this group its a massive shock/blow.

The pain of seeing your loved ones go through this is more than I can bear. My daughter is due to give birth to her first baby in next couple of weeks. I can't imagine not being wel and with her during labour (I'm a midwife too)

They think they have identified the type that may be suitable for targeted immunotherapy but waiting on a few more resultsfrom mung biopsy, but now due to timing may not start for a couple of weeks. They have also mentioned doing some brain treatment tol.

How do you get past this time? Its only been 7 weeks since any symptoms began and my world has just completely imploded.

I know this outcome isn't going to be good. I just need some idea of time and success rate and how to cope til the next part

Anyone have any tips on coping with digestive problems?

I'm so bloated after eating, especially carbs and nightime nocturnal habits resemble a farmyard in my bedroom.  I've started on targeted therapy this week.  Been on Dex and Lansoprazole for 8 weeks, brain radiotherapy next week and chemo starts week after. Feel like I'm having a phantom pregnancy with my slightly overdue daughter.
