Hi, totally new here.

im on my 3rd month of Entrectinib, think I’ve spelt it right!
this diagnosis was a shock to say the least, I’ve got an app next week to see if they have been working as they should. But it consumes me. It’s all I think about, before this I was super fit and healthy and now I get out of breath walking up the stairs. I just need to hear someone  else who’s on these tablets too. How do I deal with it? I cry all the time!

  • Iam sorry you are feeling low you have every right to cry I have the same form of cancer but am on trametinib and dabrafenib I have been on them since .May last year and up to now still working like you I have my 3 mth ct results next week I have copd so I get breathless anyway but if you have no other lung problems tell your oncology nurse or doctor when you see him next week it's been over 12 months since I got diagnosed I cried had really bad days I couldn't even bring myself to talk to any one in the end my daughter pleaded with me now am on antidepressants they do help but I do still have off days but sadly its called living with cancer now am so greatful my tablets are giving me longer with my daughter grandsons honestly it will get. Better please don't give up stay strong tell your doctor and good luck for next week xx

  • Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I have been recently diagnosed too with lung cancer and adenocarcinoma and exon 19 mutation. Treatment to start. I would suggest you find someone you can talk to, counselor? Trusted family member? Friend? As rosebud suggested you might go to see a doctor.
    best wishes for your appointment!
