Hello all!
I don't know where to start ! My brother had lung cancer and fought it for a long time. It was traumatic for us as a family but we got through it .
My question is this and i usually don't ask for medical advice on the Internet but I find myself quite anxious and suppose I'm just looking for some advice until I see my GP next week..... but can anyone tell me what symptoms one would have with a pancoast tumour? For weeks now I've had a burning pain in my right shoulder especially when I'm working. I'm a cleaner so my job involves lifting heavy things sometimes and I figured maybe it's just from over use of my right arm. Usually the pain goes when I'm at rest and I don't particularly have any other symtoms. I have an appointment next week with my GP to get it checked out . But in the meantime can anyone give me some advice or clarity please?
Thank you
Gia .
Hi Gia
Sorry that you feel you have cause to be on here.
Why do you think it might be specifically a Pancoast Tumour?

Hi there. Thank you for replying to me.
I just want to apologise firstly because I don't have a diagnosis of anything yet and will see my GP next week.
I was so traumatised by my brothers cancer that I think I will also get it. It started with a pain in my shoulder and tightness in my chest . I googled the symptoms and I've frightened myself silly . I suppose I just need reassurance and again my apologies because there are people here with a diagnosis and going through tough times.
