Hi everyone last time I was here I talked about feeling anxious about my fourth coming pet scan that is now behind me now .
I received the results which were there is something there it didn’t take up the injection as much as we thought it didn’t light up on the screen as much as we though it may not be cancer it may be a old injury or scarring still a chance it could be cancer so I was given two options
1/. Wait and see rescan in 3 months
2/ Have a lung biopsy we will then find out definitely
I asked for the lung biopsy which I’m having on 8th July
I have a question if it’s ok
I have a annual holiday insurance obviously this isn’t on it as I started this journey 5 weeks ago
do I have to tell the holiday insurance company that I’m under investigation I can not say I don’t or do have cancer until the report comes in after the biopsy. I have a holiday to Lanzarote in one week

Hi Dito my holiday insurance states we have to tell them of any medical tests or investigations. I think if you do not inform them, and something happens and you have to claim, it will be void and you won’t see a penny. I would check the small print on your insurance document thoroughly to be safe.
