Hi everyone, feel a little shocked at mo, had what experts thought was scar tissue spotted on ct 2 years ago. They just monitored it via ct over that time and now had ct guided biopsy to discover its cancer.Saw surgeon yesterday and upper right lobectomy scheduled for 19th June . I'm reading loads of scary statistics so now terrified.Recently moved,no local support,or family just me and my dogs.looking for a little reassurance that this can work out OK I guess.

  • Hi Sandra, hey don't blame us I seem to remember you were my first post diagnosis giggle gland stimulator !!!! I think it should be part of the occupational therapies...Great exercise for the chest muscles a good guffaw..lol x

  • Hi Lin , they say laughter and sleep are good medicines but I think that's a bit far fetched as I laugh and boy do I like my sleep , so if it were true I should never be sick .

Hope you are getting stronger each day and getting out more with your doggies and don't forget to laugh , even at silly things .

Here is a laugh , my mother and i were in a shop and were looking for tennis balls for my dog , we couldn't see any and this young guy ( looked like a manager )  asked if he could help , I asked him in a polite voice " do you have any balls " . His face went red , I stuttered and my mother walked away and left me to explain I meant tennis balls . We did have a good laugh about it when we left the shop .

    Take care x
