So last week I posted about mums cancer that a lesion on her brain - we see the oncologist today - they have said option 1 - targeted radiotherapy to that part of the brain , problem is because it’s in the pons area - it does not leave much room for swelling with radio therapy /. But he is going to speaks to his collegue London Hospital- it would be 3 sessions - If his collegue says no- then it will be full brown radiation - 5 sessions - which sounds frightening to me - I just wondered if anyone had any experience in this if they could share with me please , we won’t kno much more till next week - / thank u xxx
