Nut I walked to the doctor office( like a 10 minute walk if I'm not struggling) unfortunately I struggle at the minute..I went library yesterday.. I just cant seem to wake up and not feel scared or useless..I dont even k ow anymore.. I just want them to hurry up and get on with it, they found it in june and next time I actually see the lung specialist is the tail end of nov. I dont understand that. I see surgeon about 2and biopsy on 22 of August cause they couldnt finish the first one. So I'd have thought I'd see someone after that..its got me all nervous now.. clearly I can do some things but after do little errands last couple of days I feel blah scared tired aggravated..I dont k ow exactly how I feel.. thank yall for listening..

  • Hello Frazzled

    How are you feeling now?

It is good to get out and about for short walks and to keep busy but I found it was a fine line between keeping busy and taking my mind off things and doing too much.

I can understand your anxiety and just wanting to them to hurry up and get on with it. The waiting is hard and I think that most of us on the Online Community have felt like that at some point. Do you find it helps to talk about it? If so please do give the support line a call. The number is below.

I hope that your appointment on the 22nd goes well and that they can get on and do the biopsy that is needed and then come up with your treatment plan. I found personally that once I knew what I was dealing with and what needed to be done, I felt everything was a bit more in my control.

In the meantime if there is anything you need please just ask

  • I am in hospital after my lovely but very long walk to library I woke up sick the next morning last night they kept me in as they think its pneumonia..so relaxing (not really) at the hospital

  • Oh no - I am sorry to hear that you have to stay in hospital but if it is pneumonia then you are definitely in the right place. Maybe while you are in they can move things on a bit for you. I hope that you are feeling a lot better soon. Keep us updated and let us know if you need anything
