I have felt sick after my lung OP I am now 6 weeks. After my OP I have been told it could take 3 months still getting breathless and am no feeling sick most days cant eat bread biscuits crisps could this clear up once my lungs ease is this normal to feel sick like this
Hi Alwayslate
I had my operation 7th March. I was only sick in intensive care I think it was a reaction to the amount of drugs I needed through the operation. My BP dropped and heart wasn’t stable so I needed a lot of after care.
I haven’t been sick since though my diet is very beige I’ve gone back to the diet I had after my bowel surgery as that has gone into hyperdrive
Breathless yes it’s so frustrating. A couple of steps and my legs ache especially climbing stairs. My heart thumps most if the time.
I think it may just be time. Although if my BP doesn’t settle I’m going to see my GP if I can see a doctor.
Can you phone your nurses they should be able to help with you nausea?
Do you have discomfort when you swallow ?
best wishes
Ann
